Over the last 16 years I have specialized in usability, UI design and Web development. I have a background in engineering, having started my career developing and designing for both web and desktop.
I have worked with many clients to create, manage and optimize websites and web applications using technologies that range from static web pages to both PHP and ASP.NET based websites with sophisticated back-ends.
My work combines modern usability practices, analytics and user insight with traditional design theory to improve website or web application experiences and conversion. I am seeing technology as a way of facilitating and improving communication between users, understanding that people come before technology.
I'm full of energy, experience and enthusiasm, currently living in Belgrade, Serbia.
Working and developing with technologies like XHTML, CSS, PHP (working with CakePHP), ASP.NET, MySQL, SQL Server and others.
I'm also interested in Android, Python, Ruby on Rails and MongoDB.
Before I turn on the computer and start designing, I pick up pen and paper first, and start throwing ideas and asking questions. In this early project stages I carry out a detailed analysis to determine not just what you, as my client want, but to identify what your actual needs are. I gather all the bits and pieces of your project to assess the situation. This forms a basis allowing me to take your vision and apply it to a well structured project.
I create a detailed wireframe based on the outcome of the planning phase, then start designing visual elements. The look and feel of a project are the first thing a customer will notice. I want to make sure you stand out in a cluttered market and set your business apart from the rest.
Once you, as my client, have signed off on the design we get to work on the finer, technical details. There is a lot of choice when it comes to developing a website/app: servers, CMS, etc. This will be something we discuss on during the early planning phase bearing in mind the project budget and performance needs.
After project is completed I like to stay in touch with all my clients. It is important to me that any site I produce is maximised to it's full potential through careful monitoring of analytics. I work with you to make changes that have the most effect first, and provide for how a project may grow in the future. The success of a project can only be measured after the launch when we can see how your customers are using it.
